A sensor is modelled here. The step chain is modelled in the logic layer and the parameters for each zone are assigned in the system layer.
The sequence is started by a sensor.
Process in the logic layer:
In the system layer, the sensor is treated in the same way as a push button.
In the left screen, all other operands are monitored with I - Interlock Check. If the sensor becomes active again during the process, the machine stops with an interlock error.
In the right-hand image, all other operands are monitored with M - Monitoring Check. This is used to diagnose or monitor the status of the sensor. Whenever the sensor is activated, this is recorded in the alarm log file in the HMI.
