PID controller

This article looks at the PID controller. The modeling in the logic layer is shown and also what kind of assembly is added. The controller zones are created automatically in the system layer.

Control technology includes several methods for controlling processes. One frequently used method is the PID controller. This controller is based on the three components proportional (P), integral (I) and derivative (D). In this example, the PID controller is used to control three pressures.

A PID controller is used in the assembly layer.

It is necessary to add the required assembly inputs and outputs, as well as the parameters.

The zones are automatically added to the system layer.

To monitor the pressure, three additional zones must be added. These zones are used to monitor the pressure in different areas.

The parameters are added automatically.
