Video 12 - Demo Drilling Device

Now that we understand the basic steps and have clarified the theoretical aspects, we can turn our attention to the practical implementation.

The modeling in Selmo Studio is explained, followed by the implementation in the target system (Beckhoff TwinCAT 3). The step chain is created in the logic layer, modules are used in the assembly layer and cross-locks are set up in the manual cross-lock check layer. The generated PLC code is imported into the target system and linked to the process model. All control is handled by the Selmo HMI, which also provides a step chain overview and step time monitoring for predictive maintenance.
